NAD(P)H:FMN oxidoreductase component of a two-component system involved in the biosynthesis of the side chain of the aminoglycoside antibiotics in the biosynthetic pathway of butirosin. Together with BtrO, mediates hydroxylation of gamma-L-Glu-GABA-S-BtrI.
