Expression
Tissue specificity
Initially expressed at blastoderm stage, transient accumulation at dorso-lateral positions of the embryo and differences along the longitudinal axis. At later stages of embryogenesis, expression is found exclusively in neural anlagen. Expressed in 4 posterior-most ventral unpaired median interneurons (VUM) neurons, VUM interneurons and one progeny of the median neuroblast (MNB).
