Cold-adapted protein kinases of the Antarctic psychrophile, Chlamydomonas sp. UWO 241, confer a distinctive thylakoid protein phosphorylation pattern associated with a remodeling of its photosynthetic apparatus compared to the model mesophile, Chlamydomonas reinhardtii.
